Research Color Psychology
Every color causes humans to feel emotion. Some colors make people want to eat. Some colors make people sad. So research your colors. Do they clash? Are they depressing?
Save It Right!

In order to best use your logo for multiple purposes it should be saved as a PNG with a transparent background.
Using Fonts
Choose colors and styles that are distinctive and easy to spot from a distance. If you choose to use a unique font, you shouldn't use the most obscure font you can find. If you use 2 or 3 fonts, it's helpful if one of them is common.

Problem: My Logo Is Small. What Do I Do?
If using your logo for HD graphic design (HDTV) and it's smaller than 1080p x 720p it won't get any larger on the screen with distorting; therefore you have to rebuild your logo.

A small logo is perfectly fine for most websites, business cards, invoices, print and even television.
Do You NEED A New Logo?
See the graphic above for examples. If your logo is small or only in JPEG format, you will likely need a new logo eventually.  Logo Design
